WINTER KAMCHATKA
Tour season: 1 December - 15 May.
1st day. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (25 km). Accommodation in the hotel, rest. In the evening, an excursion to the resort center “Paratunka”, swimming in the pool with thermal water.
2nd day.A car drive to the mountain skiing center “Frost Mountain” (30 km). Mountain skiing, snowboarding, or skiing on a special track. After lunch, a tour to “Zelenovsk Lakes”, swimming in healthy sulfurous hot springs. Evening – return to the hotel.
3rd day.One-day tour (6 – 7 hours) on snowmobiles to the foot of Avachinsky volcano.
4th days.A car drive to Malkinskiye hot springs (120 km). Excursion to a fish farming plant. Swimming in Malkinskiye hot springs. Evening – return to the hotel.
5th day.A tour on dog-drawn sledges (3 hours), excursion around the Kamchatka sled dog farm. After lunch, a tour to the Pacific coast. Walks along the seaside.
6th day.Excursion around the city including visit to the Local History and Culture Museum. A tour to the sea quay pier “Mokhovoy”, watching the stock of sea lions.
7th day.An excursion-free day. A helicopter tour to the Geyser Valley provided there is a group of tourists wishing to make it.
8th day. a visit to the Fish Market. Purchase of Kamchatka souvenirs. Transfer to the airport, meeting off.
Tour cost per person is - 850 euros (group of 2 people)
- 760 euros (group of 4 – 10 people).
If the weather is favorable, a helicopter tour to the Geyser Valley and Uzon volcano caldera is arranged for an extra fee about of 22 000 rubles per person (provided there is a group of tourists wishing to make it).
Services included in tour cost:
1. Accommodation in a hotel 3*, (DBL), breakfast included. Alternative accommodation in a resort center in “Paratunka” sanatorium area on request.
2. Guide support throughout the tour.
3. Transport during tour except the excursion-free day.
4. Visits to swimming pools and the museum.
5. Excursion on dog-drawn sledges.
6. Excursion on snowmobiles.
Services for extra fees:
1. Lunches and dinners. (100-150 rubles in a cafe), (300-500 rubles in a restaurant)
2. Rental mountain climbing outfit (100 – 150 rub./hour), fees for rope hoists (30 rub./lift)
